Awards Sites that give out awards for a "Best" site that include nominations, judging, and voting. Blogs Sites that are strictly hosted by larger sites, such as Xanga, Livejournal, Blogspot, etc. Cliques Sites that allow people to join for a particular interest or theme. Domains Sites whose address is www.website.(com/net/nu/etc). Fanlistings Sites whose members are dedicated to a particular subject. They do not have to be approved by TheFanlistings.org, but the description can include TFL-approved. Also, the term 'official' is not allowed. Fansites Sites dedicated to a particular subject with a lot of information regarding the subject. Forums Sites that have forums or message boards. Goodies Sites that offer download-able goodies such as brushes, layouts, graphics, etc. Goodies may be free or not, but please indicate it in the description. Hatelistings Sites with members dedicated to hating a particular subject. Hosted Sites that are subdomains, i.e. you.website.com or website.com/you Listings/Directories Sites like this one. Miscellaneous Sites that don't fit any other categories Reviews Sites where you can submit a site to get it reviewed. Topsites Sites that list the top 10, 20, etc. sites. Tutorials Sites that offer a lot of tutorials. Portfolios Sites that showcase talent in any subject, i.e. graphics, weblayouts, art, writing, etc. Services Sites that offer services such as webhosting, webdesigning, scripthosting, etc. Services may be free or not, but please indicate it in the description. Un-hosted Sites that are hosted on free servers such as Geocities. Webrings Sites using RingSurf whose links look like this: « # webring ? » |
